Hoover commercial vacuums

Hoover is introducing four Hoover commercial vacuums products that blend advanced designs with some of today’s best convenience features.

The Hoover vacuum cleaners include, the FloorMAX1500 floor burnisher, the Hoover FloorMAX 200 floor polisher, the Hoover Dubl-Duty two-motor commercial upright and the Hornet mini scrubber/polisher and edge cleaner. They are available now. “These are welcome additions to our commercial lineup,” said Gary Baker, who directs Hoover’s commercial sales. “Hoover now offers a full line of commercial products — something to meet every need out there, and we do it with some very competitive pricing.”

Here’s a summary of the new Hoover commercial vacuum products, each of which is listed:

The 20-inch pad on the Hoover FloorMAX 1500 burnisher (Model C5030) spins at 1,500 rpms as it glosses floors. It has an adjustable steel handle and a cast aluminum frame, both of which add strength and durability. The 1.5-horsepower motor is designed to last 3,000 hours. It has nonslip, insulated handgrips and a nonmarking vinyl bumper. It carries a three-year Hoover commercial vacuum machine warranty.

The Hoover FloorMAX 200 floor polisher (Model C5020) also has a 20-inch brush pad diameter. Its 1.5-horsepower motor operates with a single brush at 175 rpms. The steel handle is adjustable, and its epoxy-coated aluminum construction is designed for heavy commercial cleaning use. It has a sealed gear chamber that keeps lubricants in while keeping water and debris out. It, too, has a nonmarketing vinyl bumper that protects walls and baseboards. It has a three-year commercial warranty.

Two Dubl-Duty two-motor Hoover commercial upright vacuums are being introduced; one has a 14-inch wide nozzle (Hooverl C1830) and the other (Hoover C1834 upright vacuum cleaner) is 18 inches. Two filtering systems are available. The standard filter offers three layers of filtration. Also included is a HEPA filter, which is rated for 99.97 percent efficiency to 0.3 microns. The top of the main body opens to allow access to the filter bag, which holds four quarts of debris. An electronic full-bag indicator alerts the user when the bag is full. The upright, one of the quietest in the Hoover lineup, has a one-year commercial warranty. Suggested price for Hoover Dubl-Duty commercial upright with the 14-inch nozzle is $730 and the 18-inch model is $930.

The last new product, the Hoover Hornet mini-scrubber/polisher (Model C5004), can handle diverse jobs, like cleaning in corners, scrubbing grout, polishing floors and even spot cleaning carpets. A variety of optional brushes are available for these various tasks; they can be attached to the base of the unit by simply removing a screw. The base is made of high-impact durable aluminum. A Comfort Grip handle rotates to make it easy to access hard-to-reach areas. Suggested price is $730.
