With the new Hoover Savvy vacuum cleaner,
consumers can give their carpeted rooms that final touch of
perfection that transcends ordinary cleaning and takes them
to extraordinary. And they can do it with the necessary features
that let them get the job done right the first time so they
can move on to more important things in life. How?
Only the Hoover Savvy upright vacuum uses the SurePass™
Cleaning System – a clever combination of Hoover-patented
WindTunnel™ technology that prevents scattering of dirt
back onto the carpet; dual agitators that counter-rotate to
spread carpet fibers and expose dirt to the full suction power
of the cleaner; and two air paths that contribute to cleaning
ability. The result is a clean, beautifully groomed and fluffed
carpet with fibers brushed in one direction. And that’s
a benefit any perfectionist will appreciate! Additionally,
Hoover Savvy upright vacuums offers the ultimate in convenient
vacuuming.
“Our intensive consumer research told us that women
wanted to control their vacuum cleaning, so we made sure to
place the Custom Control™ agitator shutoff switch prominently
on the handle,” said Annette Bravard, vice president
of marketing. “The user can convert the Hoover vacuum
cleaner from carpet to bare floor with just a flip of a switch
right at her fingertips.
“Overall, we’ve created a feature package that
retailers would expect from a higher priced Hoover vacuum
model, so this is going to be a very attractive piece for
them at mid-$200 price points with the Hoover Savvy.”
Among those features in the Hoover Savvy vacuum includes,
a powered hand tool included with every model, because the
Savvy consumer doesn’t want to skip the details. She’s
particular about cleaning small areas such as carpeted stairs,
upholstery and in between furniture. The hand tool, with rotating
brushes for thorough pick-up, is nestled in a compartment
on the top front of the cleaner – always at the ready.
Further, to meet consumers’ demands for hassle-free
cleaning, Hoover created the Savvy vacuum cleaner to operates
without belts to break or replace, saving time and money.
Thanks to these innovations, the hood of the Hoover Savvy
upright is designed with a low profile that enables the machine
to be lowered to the floor for easy cleaning in all those
tight, hard-to-reach spaces – such as under furniture.
The Hoover Savvy aims to please all – consumers who
prefer the convenience of a bagless model, those who insist
on containing dirt in bag, and those who want to switch back
and forth. But all of whom have serious concerns about dust
and allergens in their home.
As a result, Hoover Savvy vacuum cleaner has models suited
to each preference. All filter pollens and allergens effectively.
Bagless Savvy models offer allergen filtration with HEPA
filter, which traps 100 percent of dust mites, ragweed and
common grass pollens. The HEPA filter is long-lasting and
Teflon® coated to shed dirt.
Bagged Hoover Savvy machines come with a 3M Filtrete™
HEPA filter bag which traps 100 percent of dust mites, ragweed
and common grass pollens. 3M Filtrete filtration is a well-respected
and effective medium to contain allergens.
The configuration of Hoover Savvy vacuum cleaners undoubtedly
will set it apart on the retail floor: Its smooth, rounded
contemporary body features lots of transparency:
The Savvy upright vacuum cleaner from Hoover comes in refreshing
colors including Merlot Metallic, Silver Quartz Metallic and
Sea Foam Blue Metallic. It is priced from $229 to $279, depending
on the bag configuration.
